I kicks samurai's ass!!
I was stoked!
for sure talk to your doc about the brace.. it's amazing the change! Knees are just not up to par.. you,d think with evolution and all we would have developed better ones. damn them!

I have a latteral support knee brace.. it's neoprene with metal bars down the 2 sides and extra support down and around the pattella. The one I got is specific to where i tore my ligaments and what I needed to support.(my specialist and the physiotherapist both recomended teh same one) it does fit well under armour because it's just a slip on brace. I had put off wearing one all year, and now that i have one I cannot believe the difference!! i still get swollen and sore, but it doesn't stop me from riding anymore.
that's awesome that you bike all year... i put my bike away and switch to snowboarding in november to may. at least I have a short short off season.. just long enough to get my november report cards done at school! haha!

That's too bad! I hope he's okay... not fun to be injured at this time in the season.. or at anytime anyway! Sad for you.... does that mean no more biking for you? or do you do trails on the shore and stuff year round?
I kinda freaked out on some rocks today... but did Dirt Merchant for the first time and went back to samurai pizza cat .. i hadn't done it since my big crash on it so it was pay back time! also did the small glc for the second time. My new knee brace is making me fearless... i flew through HoChiMin and Karate MOnkey....i'm due to crash soon! haha

if ripped off means someone broke into my accomodation and took my bike and shellances laptop that she lends to me for net access?, then yes - my sx trail got ripped off. have no fear, i've just bought a cannondale prophet mx frame to build up as a jack of all trails bike. i'm due some compensation from an injury that i got a while ago so should that come through i may be going uber light and strong for a holiday in the spanish sierra nevada again next year. hows the dh'ing going? that bike of yours looks the mutts nuts!

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
No worries, friend, that was an abhorrent display and you were not in the wrong. Whistler: Depends on your budget, but the Pan Pacific Mountainside or the Sundial are great hotels. Right at the base of the lifts, and great views of the bike park Boneyard. We stay at these ones alot when we're too lazy to drive home!
Trails: There's so many! Hit the bike park, for sure. Crank it Up, Heart of Darkness, Ninja Cougar and Karate Monkey are great blue rated trails. A Line is definitely the "just do it" for black.
If you're looking for free trails, the Lost Lake Loop has fantastic blue rated XC ones that are a lot of fun, and over near Creekside is A River Runs Through It (black)and Cut Yer Bars.
